Adult Choir
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 7:30 pm
September - May

The Erin Adult Choir performs in Sunday Worship each week (only one Sunday per month during the summer). Our primary goal is to create music that glorifies God and encourages the experience of worship. The choir comprises two-dozen dedicated amateur voices, and we would love to have you join us. You do not need to have prior singing experience, or the ability to read music ... only a love for singing! We have a great time together, both in song and in spiritual support for one another.

In addition, vocalists may choose to participate in Erin's Creative Expressions Ministry through Erin Express and Erin Stage Co.

 

Handbell Ensemble
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:30 pm
September - May

The Handbell Ensemble is an intergenerational group comprised of 11 enthusiastic ringers. The Ensemble plays periodically throughout the year during Worship and accompanies the Choir on special anthems. The group's repertoire includes music containing three octaves.

Membership in the Ensemble is open to anyone, middle-school age and older. A basic ability to read music is helpful, but not necessary.

 

Children's Handchime Choir
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 5;00 pm
September - May

The Children's Handchime Choir gives students in grades 4th through 8th an opportunity to learn to read music, be part of an ensemble and share their musical gifts with the congregation. The choir rehearses every Wednesday for 40 minutes and participates in worship three or four times a year.

 

Instrumental Opportunities

Instrumentalists of all kinds participate in Worship services periodically throughout the year. In addition, instrumental musicians may choose to participate in the Creative Expressions Ministry through Erin Express or Glenfinnan.
