Summer 2003: Comin' Alive! (Check out the program ...)

Is your church hungry for revival? Our Summer 2003 program Comin' Alive! may be just the ticket to jumpstarting a spirit of renewal in your congregation.

We're eager to share this Spirit-filled program with our sister churches in the Presbytery and throughout East Tennessee. It would be an ideal program to follow a barbcue lunch or a pot luck supper.

The program deals with revival and puts forward some very positive and simple suggestions for churches to get out of "survival mode" and into a more hopeful, helpful and worshipful way of life. The music that we present is a well balanced blend of traditional, gospel and contemporary music. The sketches and testimonies are thoughtful, inspirational and even comical.

We are also in the process of writing studies and follow up material for either a short Sunday school series or an elders' retreat. We have several good people who could confidently and positively lead a special Saturday or Sunday afternoon conference to help our sister churches plan for revival and outreach.

We don't charge any fees but respectfully ask that a love offering may be taken after the performance to defray any travelling costs we may incur.

To schedule a performance soon, please contact the church office.

Background

Erin Express is a dynamic, cross-generational music ministry team featuring 9 vocalists and a 7-member band. The group loves to sing and play live music, while presenting the Gospel in a powerful and enjoyable way. Their music appeals to all age audiences and their performances are both upbeat and uplifting.

The BandMost Christian music groups use accompaniment CDs and tapes, but Erin Express features a live band which adds to the energy and excitement of their presentations. The group performs contemporary, gospel, praise and worship music, blending them together in a spirit-filled way.

Erin Express ministers through music in a wide variety of settings from homeless shelters, local missions, community events and barbecues, to church socials and worship services. With the ability to go plugged or unplugged and to minister to any group, any size, in any place, Erin Express is one of a kind, called of God and blessed with His Spirit.

A typical Erin Express performance lasts about an hour. The musical numbers include contemporary songs such as Come & Praise, The Light Has Come, and Lord, I Lift Your Name on High. Some old favorites may also be included like First Day in Heaven, Amazing Grace, and Unclouded Day, which encourage the audience to sing along.

The VocalistsThe performance closes with the beautiful Not Too Far From Here, followed by the wonderful and ever popular Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.

Erin Express has performed for many local audiences with a music ministry that has been greatly appreciated, deeply moving and very encouraging.
