"Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were a present far too small;
love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all."

When I Survey the Wondrous Cross

Tithing is the giving of one-tenth of your income back to the local church.

According to the PC (USA)'s Book of Order, "Giving has always been a mark of Christian commitment and discipleship. The ways in which a believer uses God's gifts of material goods, personal abilities, and time should reflect a faithful response to God's self-giving in Jesus Christ and Christ's call to minister to and share with others in the world. Tithing is a primary expression of the Christian discipline of stewardship."

At Erin Presbyterian, we encourage our congregation to return to the Lord the gifts He has entrusted upon us -- our time, our talents, and our earthly treasures -- for we cannot take those with us to Heaven. You will be a blessing, and you will be blessed.
