Sonshine Company

Wednesday nights, 6:20-7:30 pm

A musical theatre education program for children 1st through 6th grade with workshops beginning September 5, 2018 and culminating in April 2019 with a full musical production. Sonshine Company is under the direction of Cynthia House, Kelly Boyd, Rachel Little & Kristina Dorsett, all gifted and seasoned theatre educators. The parents meeting on August 29, 2018 will acquaint parents or guardians and prospective troupe members with all things Sonshine.

This year we will be restaging the musical C-Street Central, first performed in April 2012. We encourage you to consider this outstanding program.

You will not find a better musical theatre training program that also builds confidence, develops presentation skills, teaming ability, leadership skills and a sense of responsibility in a Christian environment. We would love to have you!

Journey 7 (J7) Advance Theatre Skills Program

Wednesday nights, 6:20-7:30 pm

An advanced skills theatre education program for kids 6th through 12th grade beginning September 5, 2018 and culminating in February 2019with a stage production. This year J7 is under the direction of Matt Lyscas, a gifted and seasoned theatre professional. The parents meeting will acquaint parents or guardians and prospective troupe members with all things J7 and the range of skill areas that will be taught.

If you want to further your acting ability through involvement in an educational program in a Christian environment, we encourage you to seriously consider J7. The troupe is small enough to afford each member individualized attention, yet large enough to provide a solid troupe and production experience. We would love to have you join us!

Dayspring Dance Ensemble

Sunday nights, 3:45-4:45 pm

This dance performance group is for 6th-12th grade students, who develop dance and movement skills by performing choreography to instrumental and vocal pieces. Dayspring focuses on dance techniques from ballet and modern dance methods to broaden members’ core abilities and prepare works for performance in Erin worship services. They rehearse weekly throughout the school year.

Led by Courtney Vanderpool, director.

Such is the Kingdom

Sunday nights, 5:00-6:00 pm

This musical performance group for K-5th grade students is designed to help members become poised and confident performers and to grow in their relationships with each other and with God. They perform regularly in worship services at Erin, as well as at other events in the Knoxville community. Such is the Kingdom rehearses weekly throughout the school year.

Led by Cynthia House, director; Kelly Boyd, assistant director.

Erin Youth Players

May-June

This theatre group for middle & high school students produces one musical theater show each summer. The performances are typically the last week of June, with rehearsals starting in mid-May. The production team varies from year to year.
