Hymn 372 in Glory to God begins with “Oh for a world where everyone respects each other’s ways.” The Presbyterian tradition has long affirmed that “Christ alone is Lord of the conscience.” How do we show respect and love for folks who have different experiences and opinions than we do? How do we resist the polarizing forces of our culture and build a faithful community where all are welcome?
