So much of the Bible is about traveling – Abram and Sarai called to leave home to go to a destination unknown, spurred only by the vision and promise that God will go with them; the journey from guilt to forgiveness, from confusion to trust. And Jesus sends his disciples out two by two, to bear the healing power of the gospel with them. It won’t always be easy. Even Christ has “no place to lay his head.” But like them, we walk in faith and find God’s promised sustenance on the way.
