We wrap up our month of thinking about “the things we do for love” with passages that celebrate God’s intimate love with those who call him. The psalmist moves from feeling forsaken, to confidence in God’s care for all generations. Phillip shares the gospel with the Ethiopian eunuch, someone formerly outside the circle of faith; John helps us to see what it means to abide in Christ, and reminds us that love casts out fear.
