This week’s readings are a variety-pack, with the first selections being those that Rev. Wendy Neff chose for next Sunday. The texts ask a question, “Who shall ascend God’s holy mountain?” and then give instructions for how to live as a community of faith, especially in regard to leaders. Think of this as our checklist to go over as we enter a new relationship. We continue to read in Colossians and Luke, Paul and Jesus’ instructions to the faithful. We may be called to a new stage, but we have many strong teachers and models to follow!
